Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Announces Sponsorship Support for Two Local Community Organizations
The Pendleton Chamber of Commerce proudly sponsors two local community groups that greatly enhance South Madison County’s vibrancy and well-being. The Chamber has awarded a $200 sponsorship to the Pendleton American Legion Post 117 for their upcoming golf outing and a $100 sponsorship to Acton Academy at Fall Creek for their Children's Business Fair.
The Chamber's contribution will benefit the Pendleton American Legion Post 117's second annual golf scramble, which brings together community members and veterans. The fundraiser will occur on Saturday, August 31st, at the Fall Creek Golf Club. The funds will support the Legion's ongoing efforts to serve veterans and their families.
“We are deeply grateful for the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce's support,” said Colonel Dave Skalon of the Pendleton American Legion Post 117. “This sponsorship will help us continue our mission to honor and assist those who have served our country.”
Acton Academy at Fall Creek's Children's Business Fair, an event designed to inspire and empower young entrepreneurs, will also receive sponsorship from the Chamber. The Children’s Business Fair, which will take place during the Heritage Fair/Fall Festival on September 7th on the Acton Academy Campus – 210 East Water Street and 201 East State Street – in Pendleton., provides a platform for children to showcase their business ideas, fostering creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in the community's youth.
“We are thrilled to receive this sponsorship from the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce,” said Lyndie Metz, head of Acton Academy. “The Chamber's support enables us to continue providing opportunities for our young entrepreneurs to learn, grow, and contribute to our community.”
Mike Romack, President of the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, emphasized the importance of supporting local initiatives. “The Chamber is committed to fostering community engagement and supporting organizations that positively impact Pendleton,” said Romack. “By sponsoring these events, we are not only investing in the present but also the future of our community.”
The Pendleton Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting the growth and prosperity of local businesses and organizations. Through partnerships and sponsorships like these, the Chamber continues to play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life in South Madison County.
