President’s Message

Dear Members and Friends of the Pendleton Chamber of Commerce,

I am filled with immense pride and optimism for South Madison County’s vibrant future.  So far, 2024 has been a testament to the resilience, innovation, and collaborative spirit that define our local communities.  Our local businesses have continued to thrive and adapt, showcasing remarkable determination and creativity in the face of evolving challenges.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Pendleton Business Association’s (PBA) founders and to two of my esteemed, immediate predecessors – Julie Schnepp and Laura Shank, whose visionary leadership helped to lay the groundwork for our new Pendleton Chamber of Commerce.  Their dedication and hard work were instrumental in fostering growth, collaboration, and prosperity within our community, along with PBA Board of Directors members.

The Pendleton Chamber of Commerce continues supporting our members through various initiatives to foster growth and development.  From networking events to educational workshops, we strive to provide valuable resources that empower our business community.

This year, we are excited to have become a Chamber of Commerce. As a result, we are transforming how we look through a new logo and branding, communicating through a new website and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, and supporting our members and non-members through creative events, resources, and much more! 2024 is a year of building the organization’s capacity to serve you better – our members and the community.

The Pendleton Chamber of Commerce's achievements directly result from our members' dedication and hard work.  Your continued support and active participation are appreciated and crucial to our mission.  I urge you to seize the Chamber's opportunities and interact with your fellow members to exchange insights, ideas, and experiences.

As we forge ahead, remember that our strength lies in our unity.  Together, we can conquer any challenge and reach new pinnacles of success.  I am privileged to serve as your President and am fully committed to working with each of you to create a brighter future for South Madison County.
